BREAKING: Abba Yusuf’s victory as Kano gov confirmed by Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has affirmed Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, as the legitimately elected Governor of Kano State.

In the 2023 Governorship Election, Yusuf faced opposition from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the party’s nominee for governor of Kano State.

Yusuf’s election victory had previously been declared void by the Court of Appeal.
