Abuja’s Kuje Custodial Centre has freed Abba Kyari, the former Commander of the Force Intelligence Response Team.

This came after a Federal High Court in Abuja decided to grant Kyari a two-week bail.

Justice Emeka Nwite granted the bail on May 22, 2024, stating that Kyari would be able to bury his mother, who passed away on May 5, during the two weeks.

“DCP Kyari has perfected his bail conditions, and has since been released today,” stated Duza in a statement on Friday.
