According to Dr. Cyril Omorogbe, the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Akwa Ibom, the commission has delisted 100 temporary employees in the state due to their suspected involvement in electoral fraud.

The REC said that the commission had begun providing sensitive documents to the state’s local government districts in advance of the election on Saturday.
Omorogbe said that all preparations had been taken to guarantee that supplies and staff for the elections would arrive on time.
“We have taken the necessary precautions to guarantee that supplies and people do not arrive at voting places late.
He declared, “We are aware of the criticisms made during the presidential and national assembly elections, and we do not want that to happen again.
