Three additional people are in serious condition after being injured in a deadly collision between a Dangote truck and a towing van owned by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

On the Kugbo-Nyanya Motorway, close to the Karu Bridge, the accident happened on Friday at three in the morning.

The tragedy was caused by a mechanical malfunction, according to Walter Amechi, the VIO Area Commander in Kugbo.

He stated that the FRSC vehicle was pulling a Dangote cement truck (which had previously experienced a failing brake) to the VIO office in Kugbo.
