Reality TV personality Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, also referred to as Doyin, has counselled women against expecting financial support from their boyfriends prior to marriage.
Doyin pointed out that a guy does things for a woman in a relationship out of generosity rather than duty.

This was her response to a female fan who had been rejected by her lover for calling him “stingy,” and who had come to her for guidance.

She posted a screenshot of the message on her Instagram story and stated, “He doesn’t give you money at random, so I don’t think he’s stingy.” You’re lucky to have a responsible man if he provides to you when you ask, but just because you’re his girlfriend doesn’t mean he owes you money at random.

“A man does not have to take care of you until you are married. He does everything from the goodness of his heart, but you should never feel entitled to his wealth.

“It’s lovely to have a man who is intentional with his giving, but it’s not your birthright. Don’t let the internet fool you. There is nothing in a man’s genetic makeup that makes it simpler for him to be wealthy than it is for a woman.

Since earning money is difficult, nobody wants to continue spending “randomly.” Get a job if you’re in need of random cash.
