There will soon be three comprehensive technical institutions in Adamawa State.

In his state-wide broadcast celebrating his fifth anniversary on Wednesday, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri stated that the universities will increase enrollment for individuals of school age.

In addition to science and technology, we are giving skill acquisition particular focus. In this context, I’m pleased to inform that work on building three new comprehensive technical schools has started, Fintiti remarked.

According to him, there will be one in each senatorial zone, and “one of these schools is going to be exclusively for girls.”

The governor claimed that because the government is so committed to education, his administration has made significant progress in the field of education during the past five years.

“We think that addressing Out-of-School Syndrome, offering free education, covering our candidates’ WAEC and NECO fees, constructing and outfitting new schools, hiring more teachers, and other initiatives will lessen the financial strain on parents,” he continued.

He voiced hope that the initiatives will also give the young people the means to escape poverty.
