Frank Warren has ruled out the prospect of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua facing off in an all-British heavyweight bout in 2024.

For a number of years, there has been talk about a domestic altercation between the two, which many believe to be one of the greatest fights in boxing history.

In their significant crossover fight last Saturday in Saudi Arabia, Fury prevailed over Francis Ngannou; yet, the boxing novice down Fury in the third round and the fighter was unimpressive throughout the ten rounds.

It was anticipated that Fury will easily defeat Ngannou before going up against Oleksandr Usyk in a decisive bout on December 23.

But after Fury was pushed all the way by Ngannou, and some fans thought the judges had “robbed” the former UFC heavyweight champion, Eddie Hearn demanded that the Usyk bout be cancelled so that Joshua could face the “Gipsy King.”

“Forget about Fury vs. Usyk; nobody cares.” Give us Fury to take on AJ, please. Tyson Fury will be eliminated by Joshua in six rounds. “Start the battle, or we won’t succeed,” he said on Matchroom’s YouTube channel.

The Hall of Fame boxing promoter maintains that Joshua is no longer in the title picture because he has previously rejected offers.

No. In December of last year, Joshua didn’t want to fight him. It was our offer. So now you are aware of his location. When asked if Fury will face Joshua in 2024, Warren responded, “He’s at the back of that long queue,” to Mail Sport.

After losing both of their fights with Usyk, they had no interest in competing for a world championship. If he had been interested in fighting for a world title, he would have seized the chance when it was presented to him.

In an attempt to restart his career after losing to Usyk back-to-back, Joshua has won two games in 2023.

Although Warren has made it clear that Joshua won’t be taken into consideration as an opponent anytime soon due to possible rematches with Usyk and Ngannou, the former two-time world champion appears to be trying to set himself up for a future matchup with Fury.
