Ike Onyema, a contestant on the Big Brother Naija reality show, said he had “forgiven” Maria Chike for making fun of him when Mercy Eke advanced to the final of the just finished All-Stars season.

When Mercy was revealed as a finalist by the organisers, the two got into a verbal spat on social media, with Maria making fun of Ike who had promised to prevent her from making it to the final and winning the competition.

Ike claimed he had forgiven Maria, who had asserted Mercy had a “99% possibility” of winning the competition, just 48 hours after Mercy lost the N120 million grand prize of the BBNaija All Stars to Ilebaye.

On the other hand, Jesus exhorted her to “go and sin no more.”

Ike posted, “Good morning @MariaChike,” on his X handle. I absolve you.

“I realise that peace is not just a possibility; it is also a given.

“Go, and stop sinning.”
