50 Cent Rejects $3 Million Offer to Perform at Trump’s New York Rally
Rapper 50 Cent recently disclosed that he turned down a $3 million offer to perform at Donald Trump’s New York rally, citing his aversion to political controversy. The revelation highlights his caution in associating with political events.
American rapper Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, stated that he turned down a $3 million offer to perform at Republican Party candidate Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden in New York.
He revealed this information while being interviewed on The Breakfast Club.
50 Cent revealed that he “received a call” and was invited to perform his song “Many Men, Wish Death” at this year’s Republican National Convention for a comparable fee.
He explained that he declined the offers because he’s hesitant about politics, given its controversial nature.
“I didn’t really go into detail… I avoided discussing those topics with them. I’m uneasy about politics.”
“It’s because, when you get involved in it, regardless of your feelings, someone will passionately disagree with you,” he said.
