39 Kaduna Electric employees are fired for a variety of offences
The management of Kaduna Electric has terminated 39 workers for a variety of offences including violating the company’s employment rules.

Head of Corporate Communication Abdulazeez Abdullahi of the company said that theft of company funds, fraud, unauthorised access, and absconding were among the infractions.
The statement reads, “These offences were in violation of the recently endorsed revised employee conditions of service, which was supported by the management led by Yusuf Usman Yahaya, Managing Director/CEO, and the national leadership of the two in-house labour unions.”
The statement went on to say that the activities of the fired employees needed to be handled since they had a negative impact on the company’s financial health.
In order to protect the company’s capacity to fulfil its responsibilities to the electrical market, the statement further urged consumers to avoid doing business with dishonest people who seek to undercut the company.
