30 shops destroyed in Yobe fire
Millions of Naira’s worth of stuff was destroyed in the famed Damaturu GSM market by an early morning fire outbreak.

Because firemen had to put out the fire for hours before it was contained, the cause of the outbreak has not yet been determined as of the time this report was filled out.
The conflagration has caused our members to lose property valued at over N150 million, according to Malami Ali, the chairman of the GMS market.
Newsmen in Damaturu were informed about the incident by DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, Police Public Relations Officer, Yobe State Command.
“More than thirty stores were totally destroyed by fire, yet nobody was hurt or killed. He stated, “The cause of the fire is still unknown.”
