Following an accident involving a Toyota Hilux carrying vigilantes escorting Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for a campaign in the commercial town of Mubi in Adamawa State, three individuals have perished and one is thought to have a slim chance of surviving.
The afflicted car was negotiating a risky turn when the accident happened in the village of Fadamareke, which is located in Hong local government region.
The three remains have been deposited at the morgue of Hong Federal Medical Center, according to a source, including that of Bako Kaura, the head of the PDP’s informal security unit, and another victim identified as Adamu, Kaura’s biological son.
Five other van occupants who suffered injuries were transported to the medical facility for treatment in the Government House ambulance and another unmarked Hilux vehicle.
The unfortunate vehicle was claimed to have held nine individuals.

According to individuals close to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, who also assisted in coordinating rescue efforts, the fatal collision in his convoy upset him.
His convoy would meet similar destiny again in a span of approximately a week.
Governor Fintiri himself very just avoided death just last week when a truck that lost control nearly slammed into his parked convoy within the Yola capital city.
Two officers had to be taken by emergency vehicle to the state Specialist Hospital in Jimeta’s acute care unit after the offending truck struck two vehicles in the convoy and injured them.
At the time of publication on Thursday afternoon, the Police Public Relations Officer for Adamawa State, SP Suleiman Nguroje, could not be reached for comment on the most recent event; nevertheless, a trustworthy security source confirmed that the convoy collision did occur and that three individuals perished.
