A tragic collision with a Dangote Cement truck resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injured several others at Ayetoro Junction on the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos State.

The accident that happened on Tuesday was reportedly due to brake failure while the truck descended from Ita-Opo.

The truck subsequently swerved into the nearby Ayetoro complex and market area, inciting panic among residents and road users.

A tow truck was dispatched to clear the wreckage, as authorities established temporary traffic diversions to alleviate congestion and ensure commuter safety.
