In 2023, the court rejected the complaint that tried to bar Tinubu from serving in government.
At Chatham House, the NNPP presidential candidate spoke on the subject of “Nigeria’s 2023 elections: Service delivery and policy choices.”
Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), says that Nigeria’s current problems are the result of bad decisions made by the government for more than 20 years.
The former minister of defense made his point at the Chatham House in London. He talked about “Nigeria’s 2023 elections: Service delivery and policy choices.”
“We can blame a variety of things for our predicament, including the coronavirus, the global economic downturn, Western powers, international business, etc.,” Kwankwaso stated.
But according to me, the blunders and bad decisions made by the individuals entrusted with running Nigeria for the past 24 years are the reason we are in this situation.
According to Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State, the country is currently facing a number of difficulties, including insecurity, rising poverty, escalating and unchecked inflation, rising unemployment and pessimism, deteriorating infrastructure, and a high rate of maternal and neonatal mortality.
There are also talks about a crumbling education system, a problem with health care, weak institutions, rising corruption and graft, the shocking theft of our crude oil and other mineral resources, and a rise in mistrust between the different parts of our country.
Because “I understand the difficulties involved, the mistakes that were made, and the erroneous priorities that were set, and together with our team, we are better linked with the goals and aspirations of the Nigerian citizens,” Kwankwaso stated he aspires to be the next president of Nigeria.
“We comprehend, concur with, and share grievances,” he continued. And we have a workable plan to deal with every problem plaguing our nation.
