24 standing committees make up the Oyo Assembly
24 standing committees have been formed for the current 10th Assembly, according to the Oyo State House of Assembly.
On Thursday, the names of the committee chairs and members were made public.
On Thursday, the names were revealed during the House’s plenary session.
The names of the chairmen and other members of the standing committees were released by Adebo Ogundoyin, Speaker of the Assembly.
Speaking at the time, Ogundoyin explained that the 10th Assembly is prepared to function fully given the makeup of the standing committees.
The Finance, Appropriations, and State Economic Planning Committees are a few of the committees, and Sunkanmi Babalola and Gbenga Oyekola are its chairman and vice chairman, respectively. Waheed Akintayo, Olorunpoto Rahman, and Modiu Akande are few others.
The chairman of the Security and Strategy Committee is Daud Olalere. Olorunpoto Rahman, Akintunde Olajide, and Rasak Mabaje are other members.
The Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy Matters, and State Honours is Hon. Akintunde Olajide, and his Vice Chairman is Hon. Bamidele Adeola. Rasak Mabaje and Peter Ojedokun are other members.
Muhammed Fadeyi, the deputy speaker, will preside over the Committee on Special Duties, with Sanjo Onaolapo serving as vice chairman. Gbenga Oyekola, Yusuf Adebisi, Babajide Gabriel, and Peter Ojedokun make up the remaining members.
