Segun Sowunmi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former spokesman for Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign, has stated that the former vice president has not yet responded to his inquiry about whether he plans to run for presidency again.

While former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has not officially announced his candidacy for the 2027 presidential race, his demeanor suggests he might be gearing up to make a third consecutive attempt.

Nevertheless, Sowunmi informed Channels Television that the 2023 presidential candidate remains in a contemplative state.
