2027: Masha Predicts PDP Will Take Over Kaduna

David Akinyemi

Masha predicts a PDP takeover of Kaduna in the 2027 elections. Find out his reasoning and the party’s strategy.

In the upcoming September 21, 2024 election for Kaduna State chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Edward Percy Masha – a prominent chieftain and candidate – has made it clear that he is determined to take control away from the APC. Furthermore, he also plans on running in the subsequent governorship election in 2027 with hopes of securing victory.

He expressed his grievances soon after the inauguration of his campaign squad in Kaduna, stating that the governing party had caused immense suffering to the citizen since 2015. He added that Kaduna State is now a hub for all kinds of insecurity conflicts, depriving its inhabitants space and opportunities to live their lives normally and earn business returns.

He stated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will surely regain its mandate in the council elections scheduled for October 19, 2024. He believes this is because the party has gained tremendous support from citizens within the state who are fed up with the current situation. Furthermore, he hopes and prays that voters will make their frustration known by casting their ballots overwhelmingly for PDP candidates.

Masha pledged that, with the backing of the masses, his squad would spare no effort in securing triumph for their party across every district within the state if he were elected into office.

He stated that the people have reached their limit with the difficulties unleashed on them by the APC administration. The state is plagued by insurgency, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal behavior which occurs frequently. This situation requires urgent attention from the party to provide a new beginning for citizens and highlight their capabilities as they strive to survive economically.

He pledged that, in the council elections, his party would canvass from market to market, shop to shop and house to house, extolling their candidates and highlighting how electing PDP into power would benefit the state’s populace.

If he becomes the party’s state chairman, he promises to bring back those who left for different reasons and establish an inclusive organization where everyone has a say in its activities and development.
