The players from Zimbabwe are not pleased that their $500 match-winning incentive has been lowered for their forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Rwanda.
The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) cut the incentive in half from the original $1000 because of financial difficulties, according to Zimpapers.

One senior player told the publication, “The committee is telling us that they have no money to give us, which is why they have decided to slash.”
However, since we want them to do better than the past leaders, we believe that it is unfair to us as gamers.
Over bonuses, the players and ZIFA have previously battled.
