The 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration costs have been increased by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The updated registration fees, as per a JAMB official statement, are as follows: N7,700 is the registration fee for UTMEs that include a mock test, and N6,200 is the charge for UTMEs that do not.

Prior to the most recent change, the JAMB application form cost five thousand seven hundred naira (N5,700) if it did not include a practice exam, and six thousand seven hundred naira (N6,700) if it did.
The board also announced that overseas candidates will now be able to obtain application materials for $30.
JAMB is anticipated to release the registration details by January 15, 2024, at the latest, and provide a detailed explanation of these costs.

This is to notify all potential 2024 UTME/DE candidates that the sale of application materials will begin on Monday, January 15, 2024, and that profile creation for registration has officially begun.

On February 28, 2024, the sale of Direct Entry application materials is expected to begin, and it will end on March 28, 2024.
Furthermore, JAMB has attested to the fact that the process of generating registration profile codes is still on. Complete instructions for creating profile codes will be released later, prior to the start of registration on January 15, 2024.
