2023 World Cup: Tinubu to Super Falcons: “Your work wasn’t in vain

Following their relegation from the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup competition in Australia and New Zealand, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

After losing 4-2 in a penalty shootout to England in the Round of 16 match on Monday, the Super Falcons were eliminated from the Women’s World Cup.

After 120 minutes at Lang Park in Brisbane, the Round of 16 match concluded in a 0-0 draw.

After the game, Tinubu responded by praising the Super Falcons for their performance against England and stating that they had represented Nigeria with pride on a worldwide scale.
