The people of Rivers State, led by Governor Nyesom Wike, have stated they will not support a presidential candidate who, if won, will either imprison or assassinate them.
This was said by Wike on Saturday at a gathering for his campaign in the Obio-Akpor LGA.
Also, he praised the governors of the All Progressives Congress, or APC, for their position about the transfer of power to the south.

Wike declared: “We will not back those who threaten to murder me if they gain power.
“We won’t support those who promise to put me in jail if they gain power.
Will you consent to them killing me? Will you support those who oppose our existence in the polls? Do you know?
