Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, has addressed the debates surrounding his age, educational background, and employment experience.
These responses were from Tinubu during a Monday speech at Chatham House in London, UK.
He was born on March 29, 1952, the former governor of Lagos State stated.
He boasted that anyone who contested his claims to be a member of the Tinubu family needed to ask for a DNA test.
According to Tinubu’s academic and employment records, he obtained his initial credential from Chicago State University.
He said that Mobil Oil confirmed his stellar track record.
According to Tinubu, my birthdate was March 29, 1952. At that time, I don’t believe I had made up my mind to run for president of Nigeria or even to enter politics.
“My record at the university they questioned is consistent. The transcript and the record both indicate March 1952.
No other father is being claimed by me. I’m the real deal Tinubu. They may ask for a DNA test if they wanted to do one.
“Chicago State University, from whence I received my degree, has recently confirmed that. I can confirm that they have sent me my original replacement degree certificate.
“Deloitte gave me accounting training. My stellar track record has been confirmed to by Mobil Oil. In the private sector, I reached the apex of my career. Among them, who can boast of that?
