2023: The Tinubu Campaign Council establishes the Ekiti Mobilization Committee.
Local government coordinators have been chosen to work with the Contact and Mobilization Committee of the Tinubu/Shetimma Presidential Campaign Council in each of Ekiti State’s sixteen council areas.
Additionally, nine subcommittees were established to work under the main committee.
The committee’s chairman, Mr. Bamidele Faparusi, gave the opening remarks at the meeting in Ado-Ekiti and stated that their main task was to start a grassroots campaign for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
By mobilising people in diverse communities to cast a large number of votes for the APC presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Mr. Faparusi challenged them to live up to expectations.
He emphasised that the chosen coordinators and heads of the subcommittees were grassroots activists with sterling moral character who could accomplish the campaign organization’s goals.
Mr. Faparusi, who used to be a commissioner in the state of Ekiti, asked people to vote for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and all other party candidates in the next election.
Asiwaju Wole Adewumi and other APC officials who spoke at the gathering urged the chosen local government coordinators and subcommittees to always be open to recommendations and ideas from other members.
The coordinators and subcommittee members were also urged by Dr. Mojisola Yahaya-Kolade to view their appointments as calls to service.
Mr. Oluwole Ariyo replied on behalf of those who had been chosen, promising to work hard to get people behind Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s victory.
APC leaders from various council areas in the state attended the meeting of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council’s Contact and Mobilization Committee.
