Ahmed Bola Tinubu, a reliable source within the APC campaign team, revealed that talks are still in progress despite widespread rumours that the G-5 governors had reached an agreement to back the party’s presidential candidate.
Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the G-5 Governors reportedly spoke in London on the 2023 presidency. The conclusion of the meeting has been the subject of rumours in many places.
According to the source, Tinubu’s agreement with the governors is subject to further discussions with the APC’s party structures in Rivers, Benue, Abia, Enugu, and Oyo.
