The All Progressives Congress’ (APC) presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu has claimed that a market woman taught him how to be an accountant.
The former governor of Lagos State stated this in a tweet on Tuesday night.
He claimed that in addition to having friends among professors, senior lawyers, and bankers, he also had pals among market ladies and bus drivers.
Bola Tinubu is my name. Professors, senior attorneys, bankers, and engineers are friends of mine. Market girls, taxi drivers, and bus drivers are also friends of mine.
He tweeted, “You know that a market woman trained me to become an accountant.”
Earlier in the day, Tinubu made fun of his rival presidential candidates by saying that he does not wrestle with pigs.
At a town hall meeting in Calabar, the capital of Cross River State, Tinubu said that Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and others don’t have enough experience to lead the country.
He says that other people running for president have insulted and criticized him in order to get him off track and get into a power struggle with him.
