The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Atiku Abubakar and the New Nigeria Peoples Party’s (NNPP) Rabiu Kwankwaso allegedly held discussions. The NNPP has refuted these allegations.
Atiku should respect his age, according to the NNPP, since Kwankwaso will never join forces with him.
According to Professor Rufai Ahmed Alkali, the National Chairman of the NNPP, party members are concerned about Atiku’s comment since there is a chance of an alliance.
On Wednesday, Alkali told reporters in Abuja: “We are not in talks with Atiku.”
“He needs to be aware that other individuals have the right to hold the office of president and that Kwankwaso has done much for Nigerians and the country in general.” The competition’s front-runner is Kwankwaso.
“We have not spoken to Atiku and do not want to form an alliance with him.”
He shouldn’t disrespect his age, and he can’t pressure people to support him.
