The Labour Party’s five additional Jigawa candidates running for the Jigawa State House of Assembly have switched to the APC.
Aminu Sani Gumel, the state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made this statement after meeting the decampees at the Dutse headquarters of the party.
The new members were praised for joining the APC, and he pledged to include them in all party events.
Gumel also told the people who were leaving to work for the success of the party in the general election.
Ammaru Kabiru Maigatari Constituency, Isah Garba Roni, Yusif Muhammad Ringim, and Zangina Bala Gagarawa Constituency are among the defectors.
Yusif Muhammad Ringim said on their behalf that the defectors joined the APC because Governor Badaru had done a lot of good things for the party.
