Bishop David Oyedepo, the head of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has issued a warning to Nigerians as the country approaches the elections in 2023, emphasising that they have seen “pepper” in the previous eight years.
Bishop Oyedepo told Nigerians not to make the same mistakes again because God tells him about the country.
During the church’s 21 days of fasting and prayer, he issued the warning.
Events in the nation, according to Oyedepo, show that Nigerians have not been able to draw lessons from the past.

“Being in church doesn’t make you a prophet,” asserts Oyedepo. God gives me information and specifics about this country, and although I am aware that something is now happening, I’ll communicate with you when the time is right.
“You’ll stop listening to what people have to say and simply be open to what God has to say.” In the last eight years, did you see pepper or not? You are aware that there are many grades and intensities of pepper. Nigerians have incredibly short memories.
“I don’t know what you want to learn if you can’t learn from the past up until now.”
“They made a lot of unrealistic promises, and not one of them came true.” Newspapers wrote them down; you wrote them down; yet nothing is visible. They are yelling, “Come again, fools, come again.”
