Atiku and Obi will go to court during the 2023 election, and Tinubu promises to be fair.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), both of whom are running for president, have declared they will go to court to seek redress.

Following the APC’s announcement of Tinubu as its nominee for president, they all spoke (APC).

A “grave injustice which will not stand,” according to the PDP, was Tinubu’s triumph.

In a brief statement on Wednesday night, Senator Dino Melaye, spokesman and director of public affairs for the PDP Presidential Campaign Committee, said there would be no turning back in the fight to reclaim the mandate, which he called a “stolen one.”

Melaye urged Atiku’s followers not to become alarmed in his statement. Joy arrives in the morning, even though weeping may last all day.

“We won’t allow this serious injustice to continue. We must not back down in the fight to reclaim our mandate, which has been taken from us. He declared, “We will triumph.

Using the law, we’ll try to overturn the result.

Contrarily, Obi has stated that he will use the law and nonviolent protest to overturn Tinubu’s election.

When his running companion, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, addressed a press conference on Wednesday in Abuja, he made this statement.

“I address you all, and by extension all Nigerians, on the current state of the nation in the wake of the revelation of the alleged outcome of the presidential election held on Saturday, February 25th 2023,” says our presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.

You can count on us to use every legal and peaceful option available to combat the injustice done to Nigerians. Our stance is that the alleged outcome did not adhere to the fundamental standards of a transparent, free, and fair election, according to Baba-Ahmed.

However, he thanked all Nigerians for their support and for turning up in large numbers to vote for the Labour Party and for the cause they regarded as the emergence of a new Nigeria.

Election for president is canceled—NNPP

In a press conference held yesterday, Rufai Alkali, the National Chairman of the NNPP, claimed that due to the manner INEC handled the election, the nation had returned to the days before 2015.

“We are deeply concerned that, based on what transpired on election day, the election umpire has returned our nation to the pre-2015 era of elections where everything goes: where voters were purposefully and systematically disenfranchised; where ballot box snatching and ballot box stuffing was the norm; where voter suppression was common; where violence and vote-buying were the main determining factors of the outcome of elections; where security agents openly take si

In a statement, Alkali’s party noted that “INEC actively weakened the NNPP in the process, allowing the president and others to campaign on election day; voter suppression, vote-buying, BVAS failure and over-voting, lying about IReV sever and election marked by unprecedented violence.”

Hence we urge the polls be called off on his behalf and on behalf of the NNPP.

President-elect Tinubu has promised to treat all Nigerians fairly, regardless of their political or religious beliefs, whereas the major candidates in the election were airing their grievances.

His running companion, Kashim Shettima, and he received their certificates of return from INEC chairman, Dr. Mahmood Yakubu, yesterday in Abuja, where he made the commitment.

Tinubu and Shettima were proclaimed winners by Yakubu in the wee hours of Wednesday.

He claimed that Tinubu received 8,794,726 votes in total to defeat Atiku (6,984,520) and Obi (6,101,533), who finished second and third, respectively, and were his main competitors.

With 1,496,687 votes, NNPP candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso placed fourth.

The journey was difficult, but we made it, according to Tinubu. Despite our fierce fighting, we prevailed in the war. I also understand that I am merely a tool for a greater good, which is more significant. At its finest, this award also serves as a reminder that everyone of you is capable of accomplishing goals that others may think are insurmountable for you.

I’m the president-elect, and yeah, that’s something extraordinary, as I stand before you. Nonetheless, I am the same as all of you. You could perform better if I can. To properly uphold our democratic tenet that no Nigerian is fundamentally superior or deserving of more rights and opportunities than any other Nigerian, we must be able to shed the artificial limitations of bias and prejudice. This is how we will determine the fate of our people and nation.

Very soon, this country will see a young person stand in front of you with this magnificent emblem of democracy and governmental authority. A woman holding this diploma while standing in front of you will be our sight. We’re about to witness someone from a group that many have attempted to write off as being deserving of this low office being disqualified from it.

“You may accomplish the best of things by working hard, being determined, and having a firm belief in a great cause. Now listening to me are some young individuals who will one day lead our treasured and extraordinary democratic nation. I therefore take on a holy role that I will never shirk by receiving this certificate, Tinubu stated.

Tinubu travelled to Katsina State’s Daura shortly after earning his diploma, where he met with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Malam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, claimed that there were joyful scenes at President Buhari’s house on Wednesday night when Tinubu and Vice President-elect Shettima triumphantly entered the private residence in Daura while each was waving their certificates of return.

Shehu claimed the president, who was reportedly filled with emotion after learning of the “phenomenal election outcome,” kept saying, “My Good Lord, My Good Lord,” “Wonderful,” and “We are extremely lucky,” while affectionately clasping the hands of the president-elect.

As stated by President Buhari: “There were no issues. No accidents or spilled blood. For this, we owe gratitude to God Almighty.

He expressed his happiness at the choice of the APC and its candidates by the electorate, which he said demonstrated the people’s willingness for the administration’s development momentum to continue.

After the visit, Tinubu responded to inquiries from reporters at the State House by saying that, regardless of how provoking a setback was, Democrats working to create a country must accept it.

Following the process, preparing a successor, and prepared to step down peacefully, Tinubu said in a statement in which he thanked the president for his support of democracy in Africa.

On the congratulations, Tinubu said: “Well very many, many of those in fact as far as Europe; the stock market reacted positively well. Macron, the president of France, sent a message of goodwill.

As well as the governors of Katsina, Kaduna, Ebonyi, Zamfara, Lagos, and Jigawa, Tinubu and Shettima were escorted to Daura by Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the national chairman of the APC, and Chief Bisi Akande, the founding chairman.

The governors of Kebbi, Niger, Plateau, Ogun, the former governor of Borno, Ali Modu Sheriff, and the governors of Zamfara, Abdulaziz Yari, were among the others.

Aside from Sunday Dare and Alhaji Lai Mohammed, there were other ministers of youth and sports, information, and culture.

The election, according to Buhari, showed that democracy is still relevant and capable of delivering for its constituents. He made this claim in a separate statement earlier this morning.

The president, however, urged candidates who could substantiate the fraud they alleged had been committed against them to do so in court rather than on the streets.

No matter how difficult it may be for the losers to accept, if they are unable to, then we must draw the conclusion that the election was actually the decision of the people.

Even if there were technical glitches with the results’ electronic transmission, none of them, according to Buhari, posed a threat to the polls’ integrity.

When people use protests, he claimed, it’s because they’re “not acting in the interests of the public, but rather to inflame, to put people in harm’s way for personal selfish goals.”

The ruling APC added that Tinubu was duly elected as President Buhari’s successor.

The APC National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Felix Morka, expressed his gratitude to all Nigerians for supporting the party’s continued rule in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja. He also praised the INEC for its efficient operation.
