2023: El-Rufai makes another shocking statement, “I no longer believe in Buhari’s leadership.”
Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna State, has once more attacked the administration, claiming he no longer trusts President Muhammadu Buhari to lead.
Recall that in response to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) recent cash policy, the governor had highlighted the concern that certain individuals in the government were working against the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
They would be revealed in due course, the governor promised, adding that people in Tinubu’s side would destroy the cabals.

El-Rufai claimed in a recent interview with Channels TV that some people in the government who supported a different candidate during the APC primary race were now using Buhari to carry out their agendas.
In a similar vein, the governor said in a Premium Times interview that while he still supports Buhari, he no longer has faith in those that surround him.
El-Rufai stated, “I no longer trust in the circle around him and the quality of decisions and acts coming out of that leadership, but I still do and I will never stop believing in Buhari.
