Yakubu Dogara, a former House of Representatives speaker, has criticized Rivers State, Governor Nyesom Wike.
Wike has criticized Dogara for endorsing the People’s Democratic Party’s presidential candidate (PDP).
“People who lack character are what I dislike in life. It drives me crazy. I would challenge them to a discussion when the moment was right,” Wike stated.
“Ask Dogara, ‘Why did you quit the PDP?'” I was to meet with Dogara. Unbeknownst to me, he provided me with an explanation when I was watching President Muhammadu Buhari welcome Dogara to the APC on television.
However, Dogara threatened to make public a private chat he had with Wike on Monday night in a series of tweets.
“To my brother, Governor Nyesom Wike: If there’s anything I didn’t expect to be one of your ailments is forgetfulness.
“Why do you think you are the only one with the right to a particular set of values that you will not compromise? It’s unfortunate that you can’t recall the details of our conversation or agreement.
“Why should one simply respect and adhere to one’s position?
I won’t reply to your outburst on national television because I would never betray a buddy or a brother.
The specifics of our chat are confidential between us, but if you think it’s alright to make them public, kindly give me your written permission to do so so that the public can determine who is telling the truth. Thank God for the eyewitness!
