The 55-man provisional roster for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations is anticipated to be submitted by Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro no later than December 14.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) states that on the specified date, Nigeria and the other twenty-three participating nations must turn in their preliminary roster.
Additionally, CAF has determined that instead of the customary 23, each participating nation may name a maximum of 27 players in their squad for the 2023 AFCON finals.

By January 3, 2024, the final roster is anticipated to be submitted.
Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and host Cote d’Ivoire are drawn in Group A with the Super Eagles.
