11 ISWAP terrorists are killed by the military, and Sambisa forest camps are destroyed

Eleven ISWAP terrorists were neutralized by Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) troops in an extreme intrusion into the insurgents’ hideouts in the Sambisa forest in Borno State, working with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and hybrid forces.

Reports claim that the terrorists’ hideouts within the Damboa and Chibok local government areas axis were where they met their demise during the intelligence-led offensive that took place between May 31 and June 4 of 2023.

The troops stormed and cleared some of the terrorists’ hideouts in Bale, Tirke, Mandari, and Molgoi, according to intelligence sources who spoke with Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad region.

Bego, Yarwa, and Ngurna were three other terrorist strongholds that the vigilante troops purged.

It was reported that the soldiers recovered weapons, ammo, and other logistics supplies during the joint military operations.
