The specific reasons for their deportation from Turkey have not been made public, leaving the circumstances surrounding their expulsion shrouded in mystery.
Upon their arrival, many of the deportees expressed feelings of anger and frustration, citing their treatment in Turkey as unjust.
According to the returnees, they were detained by Turkish authorities for a period exceeding 11 months prior to their deportation.
The deportees have called upon the Nigerian government to intercede on their behalf and assist them in recovering the possessions they left behind in Turkey.
